A real-time qualitative PCR test that is based on the combination of allele-specific priming, asymmetric PCR, and melting curve analysis for the detection of PIK3CA mutations (E542K, E545K, E545Q, H1047R). The kit can be used on DNA samples extracted from FFPE tumor tissues and plasma of breast cancer patients.
